Breath + Body Works: Fundamentals

We will spend an hour together learning how to utilize our anatomy to breathe deeper, hold our breath for longer, and use our hands on our bodies to unwind our nervous system.
This class is for anyone who breathes.
Find a comfortable place to set up, perhaps a cushion on the floor, a cozy chair, maybe your bed. These practices can be done sitting up or laying down.
These practices are not meant to “take you away” but rather to bring you deeper into yourself, more awake and connected. There will be time and space to ask questions.
This evening one of the things we will explore is breath holds. Please do NOT do these if you are pregnant, have a history of epilepsy, have severe COPD, or a cardiac arrhythmia/pacemaker.
